IBA  has been holding regional seminars on awareness, motivation and technology transfer in all major honey   producing states of India and also conducting “Trains the Trainers” & “Train the Farmers” programme in   beekeeping in partnership will National Bee Board. A six month certificate course in beekeeping recognized by IGNOU has been started by IBA. IBA involves in Beekeeping technology generation

  • Establish A. mellifera mass queen rearing and artificial insemination laboratory in a mobile van.
  • Undertake A. mellifera and A. cerana selection and breeding programme.
